SPOOK05 23' SPOOK911 episode: grand theft auto

INT NIGHT WIDE: COUNTRY WESTERN BAR

(country music thumps in the background as Nanny, dressed in
plaid shirt, denim miniskirt, boots and cowboy hat, enters,
looks around, eyes Leroy who is at the bar)

                             LEROY

(shouts over music)

Barkeep, the next round of drinks are on me!

                             NANNY

(pulls out cell phone, talks while moving toward the bar)

Make it fast. I'm busy.

                             KATIE

(voiceover)

Nanny, you've got to help me!

                             NANNY

Sorry, Katie, I'm not your Nanny anymore. I'm on an assignment
for your dad.

                             KATIE

But I need your help!

                             NANNY

I'm sorry, Katie. Your timing couldn't be worse. I'm about to
make a citizen's arrest.

                             KATIE

Nanny!

                             NANNY

(deep breath)

I tell you what. I'll call you as soon as I'm done here.

(pockets phone, sidles up to Leroy)

What's up, Leroy? Did you strike oil?

                             LEROY

(sips from beer, turns)

Well, little lady, I must have had one too many. It seems you
know my name, but I can't remember yours.

                             NANNY

Then, maybe you can remember how it is that you're two month's
behind in your rent payment, but you can now afford to buy
drinks for everyone in the bar.

                             LEROY

(smile melts)

How is it you know so much about me, but I don't even recognize
you?

                             NANNY

I'm the bounty hunter who came to arrest you for stealing 1.6
million dollars worth of diamonds from Worthington Industries.

                             LEROY

(stands tall, leans in)

Yeah, right, you're going to arrest a guy who outweighs you two
to one. I hope you brought a gun.

                             NANNY

As a matter of fact, I did. I have it strapped to my thigh.

                             LEROY

(nervous laughter)

Yeah, right. Say, listen, I think you're in the wrong place. The
comedy club is...

(points)

two blocks down the street.

                             NANNY

(grabs his fingers, twists and turns them back onto his own
wrist, driving him painfully to his knees, she pulls hand cuffs
from her back pocket, cuffs Leroy's hands behind his back)

I don't think I'll need my gun, do you, Leroy?

                             LEROY

(groans, grimaces as the cuffs clamp down)

                             NANNY

It may not seem like it, Leroy, but today is your lucky day.

(pulls him to his feet)

                             LEROY

Yeah, right.

                             NANNY

Listen carefully. This is a one-time offer, because I have to
return a rather important phone call. If you tell me where the
diamonds are now, I won't turn you over to the cops.

                             LEROY

The diamonds are at my apartment. Now let me go!

                             NANNY

(pushes him toward the door)

Wrong answer, Leroy. You just bought yourself a ticket to jail.

                             LEROY

Wait! I'll tell you where the diamonds are!

                             NANNY

Too late, Leroy. That was a one-time offer.

                             THUG

(steps into Nanny's path)

Wait a minute! Where you taking Leroy? He's buying the drinks!

                             NANNY

Back off.

                             THUG

You're awfully feisty for such a little thing.

                             NANNY

(reaches under skirt, pulls out pistol)

Let me put it another way.

(points pistol at Thug)

Back... off!

                             THUG

(backs away, hands in the air)

All you had to do is ask nicely.

EXT NIGHT WIDE: BAR PARKING LOT

(Nanny pushes Leroy)

                             LEROY

I'm telling you, the diamonds are at home!

                             NANNY

Save it. I already searched your apartment.

                             LEROY

You can't search my apartment without a search warrant!

                             NANNY

Wrong. That only holds true for cops. I'm not a cop.

                             LEROY

That don't seem right.

                             NANNY

Now I'm going to search you.

(pushes Leroy against the trunk of his car, kicks his legs
apart)

Spread 'em.

(slams his face down, pats his pockets, and all over his body)

                             LEROY

This arrest will never hold up in court, you know.

                             NANNY

Wrong. I have a warrant for your arrest.

(pulls Leroy up)

Stand up.

(reaches into Leroy's pocket, pulls out his keys)

Now, if I was a stupid diamond thief, where would I hide the
diamonds?

(imitates a retard, turns him to one side, unlocks trunk)

Dah. I'd hide them in the trunk, with the spare tire.

(lifts cover over spare tire, uncovers a cloth bag in the spare
tire compartment, lifts and dangles it)

                             NANNY

Well! What have we here, Leroy?!

                             LEROY

It's not fair! I worked hard for those diamonds!

                             NANNY

Boo hoo! This just isn't your day, Leroy.

(pushes Leroy to her own car)

You not only lost the diamonds, you're going to jail.

                             LEROY

You said you'd let me go if I gave you the diamonds!

                             NANNY

That ship has sailed, Leroy. Tough luck.

EXT NIGHT WIDE: POLICE STATION PARKING LOT

                             NANNY

(exits the police station, pulls out cell phone, reads screen,
looks at watch, to self)

It's after midnight. What is Katie doing up so late?!

(puts cell phone to ear)

Katie?

                             KATIE

(voiceover)

... lo... ny. Nanny? ny?... you there?

                             NANNY

(reads phone screen, raises voice)

Katie? We've got a bad connection. Where are you?

                             KATIE

...truck...m... vestigating... ...len cars...

                             NANNY

Katie, if you can hear me, save your battery. Turn off your
phone. Call me every fifteen minutes until we get a good
connection. I'll find you.

                             KATIE

...py that.

INT NIGHT CLOSE-UP: NANNY'S CAR

(Now on the highway, Nanny attaches phone to dashboard, pushes
buttons)

                           OPERATOR

(voiceover)

Directory information. What city, please?

                             NANNY

Shady Canyon. Peaceful Valley Boarding school.

                           OPERATOR

(voiceover)

Would you like me to connect you?

                             NANNY

Yes, please.

                          HEAD MASTER

(sleepy voiceover)

This is Head Master Stevens.

                             NANNY

I'm sorry to bother you at such a late hour. But I received an
emergency phone call from Katie Worthington.

                          HEAD MASTER

That's impossible. The girls at this school are not allowed
access to phones after bed check.

                             NANNY

I think she was using her cell phone.

                          HEAD MASTER

That's impossible. The girls at this school are not allowed to
have cell phones in their possession.

                             NANNY

Yeah, well, it's quite likely that Katie is not in that school.

                          HEAD MASTER

That's impossible. The girls at this school are not allowed out
after bed check.

                             NANNY

Can you please do ANOTHER bed check?

                          HEAD MASTER

There is no way one of our girls could possibly get out of the
dormitory after bed check.

                             NANNY

Let me put it another way. If you don't do another bed check
right now, my boss, Andrew Worthington, the billionaire Andrew
Worthington, will buy your school and fire you and burn your
school to the ground.

                          HEAD MASTER

I'll just do another bed check to be sure.

(makes grunting and bed squeaking noises)

                             NANNY

Thank you.

(to self)

Katie's necklace!

(pushes button on phone, phone screen shows a road map with a
red dot on it)

Katie Worthington! What are you doing on the freeway?!

(u-turns car)

                          HEAD MASTER

Hello? Hello?

                             NANNY

I'm here.

                          HEAD MASTER

There's been a horrible mistake.

                             BOTH

Katie is not in her bed.

                          HEAD MASTER

Where is she?

                             NANNY

According to her GPS tracker, she's on the freeway heading
toward the coast.

                          HEAD MASTER

The freeway?! How did she get way up there?!

                             NANNY

When I talked to her on the phone, I only heard two words
clearly: cars and investigation.

                          HEAD MASTER

Cars? Investigation?

                             NANNY

Yes.

                          HEAD MASTER

Well, Katie wrote an article in the school newspaper about
several people in this county who have had their cars stolen.

                             NANNY

That explains why she's on the freeway.

                          HEAD MASTER

Listen, this is not our fault. I have no idea how she got out of
the dormitory! Please don't let Mr Worthington burn down my
school!

                             NANNY

Relax. Nothing is going to happen to your school. Go back to
sleep.

(pushes button)

INT NIGHT WIDE: NANNY'S CAR

(Now on the freeway, passes by a big rig truck)

                             NANNY

(looks down at phone screen)

According to this, Katie should be right...

(looks around, checks mirrors)

here. But there's nothing here but a...

(smiles)

truck. If I was a car thief and I wanted to transport stolen
cars, I would transport them inside of a big trailer like that
one right there so noone could see them.

(phone rings, Nanny pushes button)

I'm here, sweety.

INT NIGHT SPLIT-SCREEN: BIG RIG TRAILER

(filled with stolen cars)

                             KATIE

(to phone, while leaning against the fender of a car)

Nanny, can you hear me?

                             NANNY

Loud and clear, sweety. I'm right next to the truck your in.

                             KATIE

Do you have a mission plan?

                             NANNY

(checks mirrors)

I just got here, sweety. But, I'm pretty sure I can't stop the
truck without risking getting you hurt. We'll have to wait until
the truck gets to its destination. Did my little investigative
reporter find out where the car thieves take their stolen cars?

                             KATIE

No. That's why I got on the truck. Are you mad at me?

                             NANNY

Silly me. I thought that locking you inside a boarding school
would keep you safe.

                             KATIE

You are mad at me.

                             NANNY

Let me put it another way: for a really really smart girl, you
are really really dumb. It was bad enough that you risked your
life while I was around to protect you. Risking your life
without me is downright foolish!

                             KATIE

Does this mean you're going to be my nanny again?!

                             NANNY

You need to focus on getting out of there without getting hurt.

                             KATIE

And capture the bad guys?

                             NANNY

Katie! You never let up! Focus on the rescue! The first thing
you need to do is find a hiding place. Are you inside of a car
trunk?

                             KATIE

No.

                             NANNY

Find a car with a trunk and tell me the make, model and color.

                             KATIE

(shines flashlight)

It's a green Jaguar SJ12. Should I get in now?

                             NANNY

No. The air inside a car trunk is limited. And if it takes me a
while to get you out, you'll need all the air you can get. So,
wait until the truck begins to slow and maneuver before you
close yourself in.

                             KATIE

I copy.

                             NANNY

Once you're inside, put your earwig in your ear so I can talk to
you without your phone screen lighting up.

                             KATIE

I copy.

                             NANNY

Don't move a muscle until I get to you.

                             KATIE

I copy. Waiting for your command.

EXT NIGHT OVER-THE-SHOULDER: HARBOR DOCKS

(As big rig truck turns into a shipping terminal, Nanny's car
parks at the curb in the distance, she exits the car, opens
trunk and changes into her all-black stealth body suit and
climber's harness, slings ropes, guns and night vision
equipment)

INT NIGHT OVER-THE-SHOULDER: HARBOR WAREHOUSE

(Nanny silently sidesteps in through the roof window, sidesteps
across a roof truss until the big rig truck enters frame. Stolen
cars are unloaded one at a time, finally a green Jaguar is
unloaded and parked at the end of a long line of other stolen
cars. Thug exits car and exits frame, boat horn blasts)

INT NIGHT CLOSE-UP: HARBOR WAREHOUSE

(Nanny raises up from behind the rear bumper of the green
Jaguar, looks around, moves toward drivers side door to pull the
trunk latch.)

                             NANNY

(softly, voiceover)

Katie, do you read me?

                             KATIE

(softly)

Loud and clear, Nanny.

                             NANNY

Stop calling me Nanny. I'm not your Nanny anymore. Alright.
Listen up. These cars are going to be loaded on a boat and
shipped to South America where they will be sold to people who
don't care where they came from.

(one last look around, pulls latch, trunk pops open, moves to
trunk, helps Katie exit trunk)

Alright, let's get you out of here.

(motions, exits frame)

                             KATIE

No. We need to catch the bad guys!

                             NANNY

(reenters frame, sighs)

I should have just let them ship you to South America.

                             KATIE

We can't just let them get away with it!

                             NANNY

You have a cell phone. Call 911...

(motions, exits frame)

on your way out of here.

                             KATIE

(crosses arms)

That's not what I mean.

                             NANNY

(reenters frame)

Katie!

(looks around)

                             KATIE

I traced the car thieves here so I could catch the guys who buy
the stolen cars from them.

                             NANNY

(points)

Get back into the trunk. I'm shipping you to South America.

                             KATIE

Come on, Nanny. The car thieves are here. If we wait for a
little while, the buyers -- probably the big bosses of the
stolen car gang -- will come and we can arrest them all at once.

                             NANNY

And the fact that they all carry guns doesn't bother you?

                             KATIE

Not with you here to protect me.

                             NANNY

(looks around)

This was your plan from the start, wasn't it?! You knew I'd come
running as soon as you called.

(Katie smiles, shrugs)

What it I didn't get your call?! What if my phone was off?!

                             KATIE

You always come. I have you wrapped around my...

(pantamimes)

little finger.

(boat horn blasts)

                             NANNY

(turns, looks)

The boat is docking. That means the buyers will be here in a few
minutes.

                             KATIE

So, what's our mission plan?

                             NANNY

OUR plan is to keep YOU out of sight.

                             KATIE

Come on, Nanny, we're a team!

                             NANNY

Alright.

(points up)

You take overwatch up there and help me disable the three car
thieves.

                             KATIE

(moving toward the rear of the warehouse)

How?

                             NANNY

I don't know yet.

(runs to truck)

We'll have to play it by ear. First thing: open the roll-up door
so I can drive the truck out of here.

                             KATIE

(stops, turns, zooms in on the three-button door control box
next to the roll-up door, pokes the air)

(special affect: button depresses, roll-up door raises)

(Katie disappears into the darkness)

                             THUG1

(voiceover, afar)

Hey, who opened the door?. Did you open the door?

                             THUG2

Not me.

                             NANNY

(slides behind the wheel of the big rig truck, drives it out the
door while the door is still rising)

Katie, one of those guys is going to run after me. As soon as
he's out the door, close it behind him.

                             KATIE

(climbing a pallet rack)

Copy that.

                             THUG1

Whoever it is, he stole the truck! Get him.

(Thug2 runs after the truck, door closes behind him)

EXT NIGHT WIDE: OUTSIDE THE WAREHOUSE

                             THUG2

(approaches the moving truck's driver's side door, hops up on
the step, opens the door)

Where do you think you're going with my truck?!

                             NANNY

(smiles)

I just had to get it out of the warehouse.

(smacks Thug2 with her elbow, he tumbles backward off the step
and rolls, unconscious. Nanny stops the truck and tie-wraps
Thug2 to the cargo tie-downs inside the trailer)

INT NIGHT WIDE: INSIDE THE WAREHOUSE

(Nanny knocks on the side door)

                             THUG3

(approaches)

Freddie? Is that you?

(opens the side door cautiously, Nanny kicks the door open, door
slams Thug3, knocking him out cold, she drags him outside)

                             NANNY

Katie, if the third guy gets to this door before I get back,
keep him busy.

                             KATIE

I copy.

                             THUG1

(voiceover)

Freddy? Who was that driving the truck?

Freddy?

(Draws pistol from waistband, approaches the side door)

Freddy?

Jimmie?

Where are you guys?

                             KATIE

(lying on top of a thirty-foot high pallet rack, smiles to self)

Freddy and Jimmie? Oh, they're just outside the door.

(makes a twisting motion with her hand)

(Special affect: the door knob on the side door rattles)

                             THUG1

Freddy?

Jimmie?

If that's not you, I'm going to fill you full of holes.

                             KATIE

(to self)

Did I say they were outside? I meant they're over there in the
corner.

(makes a twisting motion with her hand)

(Special affect: the door handle on a storage cabinet rattles)

                             THUG1

(gasps, turns, approaches cabinet)

(Katie makes a twisting motion with her hand)

(Special affect: the door knob on the side door rattles)

(gasps and turns back toward the side door)

Freddy?

Jimmie?

(Katie makes a twisting motion with her hand)

(Special affect: the door handle on a storage cabinet rattles)

(gasps and turns back toward the cabinet)

Freddy?

Jimmie?

(Katie makes a twisting motion with her hand)

(Special affect: the door knob on the side door rattles)

(gasps and turns back toward the side door)

Freddy?

Jimmie?

(Katie makes a twisting motion with her hand)

(Special affect: the door handle on a storage cabinet rattles)

(gasps and turns back toward the cabinet)

Dad gummit, Freddy! If this is your idea of a joke, I'm not
laughing. We got no time for this. The boat is here. The boss
will be in here soon. We got no time for this!

(opens storage cabinet, points pistol, it's empty)

Dad gummit, Freddy! Where are you?

(Katie makes a twisting motion with her hand)

(Special affect: the door knob on the side door rattles)

(gasps and turns back toward the side door)

Freddy?

Jimmie?

(Katie makes a sweeping motion with her hand)

(special affect: close-up of a box of steel balls tipping over
and spilling under a work table)

(the steel balls emerge from under the table directly in Thug1's
path, he steps on them, his feet slip out from under him, he
falls on his back and the pistol falls out of his hand.

(Katie makes a sweeping motion with her hand)

(special affect: the pistol slides across the floor and out of
frame)

                             NANNY

(voiceover)

Katie, I'm on my way. What's the status of the third guy?

                             KATIE

He's disabled and disarmed. Come and see for yourself.

(makes a knob-turning and pulling motion with her hand)

(special affect: the side door opens)

                             NANNY

(enters, notices Thug1 lying unconscious on the floor)

Katie! You were supposed to just keep him busy!

(drags Thug1 out the side door)

                             KATIE

I kept him busy! It's not my fault he's clumsy!

(turns head, sees three more thugs outside approaching from the
boat toward the opposite end of the warehouse)

Oh oh! We've got company!

                             NANNY

(voiceover)

How many?

                             KATIE

Three. The guy in front is wearing gold chains and the two guys
behind him are carrying pistols. What's our plan?

                             NANNY

(voiceover)

Open the roll-up door on that end of the building and let them
in. Then open my side door and hold it open for me.

                             KATIE

Copy that.

(pokes the air with her finger)

(special affect: the roll-up door opens)

(turns and makes a turning motion toward the side door, then a
pulling motion)

(special affect: the side door opens)

Done. Should I delay them or divert them?

                             NANNY

(voiceover)

Negative on the diversion. Negative on the delay. I'm on my way.
Take out that fancy new phone of yours and record these guys on
video.

                             KATIE

(pulling out phone)

I copy.

                             NANNY

(runs, then slows to a walk as she goes through the door. Waves)

Hi, fellas! Come on over and see the cars!

                             BOSS

(looks left and right, motions the thugs to spread out)

Who are you?

                             NANNY

I'm Nancy. I'm Freddy's girl.

                             BOSS

(looks around)

Where are they?

                             NANNY

I'm sorry. They thought they'd be back by now. They thought they
had enough time to steal one more load of cars. You know how
they are: more cars means more money. They got more ambition
than common sense. Anyways, they'll be back any minute. Freddy
says if you can't wait, I should sell you the cars we've got...

(motions toward the row of cars)

and send you on your way. You got time to wait for another load?

                             BOSS

No. We're on a tight schedule.

(looks around suspiciously)

I don't like dealing with strangers. How come you're dressed in
black?

                             NANNY

I'm part of the team. I boosted...

(points)

the green Jaguar and the BMW. You might call me the foreign car
specialist. I'm good with the new alarm systems.

(laughs, points)

Have a look. Doesn't hurt to take a look, does it?

                             BOSS

(strolls down the row of cars, looks at watch, turns to Thug4)

Have a look around the warehouse. I don't want any surprises.

(Thug4 exits frame, pistol at the ready)

(Boss turns to Thug5)

You look around outside.

(Boss walks toward Nanny, sweeps hand toward line of cars)

I'll give you ten thousand for the whole bunch.

                             NANNY

See, this is why I told Freddy, I said, Freddy, if the boss sees
a girl here instead of you guys, he's going to try to low-ball
us on the prices. See, I'm a car thief. I steal cars. I don't
usually do this end of the deal. But even a lowly car thief like
me can see that a thousand dollars a car is a low-ball price.

(looks subtly to see if thugs are out of sight)

                             BOSS

What, ten thousand is not enough?

                             NANNY

I'm saying this Jaguar alone is worth ten thousand locally. It
will be worth twice that where you're selling it. Maybe we
should wait until the guys get back with the other load.

(looks all around, turns her back to Boss)

(softly)

Honk the horn.

                             KATIE

Copy that.

(pokes the air with her finger)

(special affect: horn honks on the car closest to Boss)

                             BOSS

(gasps, steps back)

What the....

                             NANNY

(ducks and sweeps Boss's legs with her foot, he lands on his
back out cold)

Katie, can you reach the hood latch from your angle?

                             KATIE

Give me a second.

(tilts head, turns and bends wrist, pokes the air with her
finger)

(special affect: hood on the nearest car pops up)

(Thug4 comes running. When he arrives, he sees Boss bending over
the radiator of the green Jaguar with Nanny looking over his
shoulder)

                             NANNY

(points)

It's a V-12 engine with a turbo charger. That's got to be worth
more money, right?

                             THUG4

Everything alright, Boss?

                             NANNY

(straightens, turns, points over shoulder)

Oh, he's just checking under the hood.

(turns away, bends next to Boss and looks at engine, softly)

Katie, do you see those boxes on the top rack across from you?

                             KATIE

I'm way ahead of you, Nanny.

(makes a sweeping motion with her hand)

(Special affect: a large box falls from the top of a pallet rack
and smashes on Thug4's head, he collapses.)

                             NANNY

(rushing to Thug4, picks up his pistol)

Katie, in a moment, the guy outside will come running in here.
When he does, I'm going to need a noise in the upstairs office
to divert his attention.

(points and shoots the pistol three times toward the corner,
drags Thug4 toward Boss)

                             KATIE

Copy that.

                             THUG5

(enters running, pistol at the ready, sees Boss, Thug4 and Nanny
unconscious face down on the floor, stops)

Holy socks!

(turns and points pistol in all directions)

Where is he?

                             NANNY

(softly)

Now.

                             KATIE

One diversion coming up.

(makes a turning and pushing motion with her hand)

(special affect: the door to the second floor office opens)

                             THUG5

(points pistol and shouts)

I know you're up there. Come out now or I'll shoot.

(special affect: a five gallon water bottle is lowered clumsily
from a shelf to the floor of the second floor office)

(starts up the stairs)

Come out now or I'll fill you full of lead.

(special affect: another five gallon water bottle is lowered
clumsily from a shelf to the floor of the second floor office)

You don't scare me. I'll send you back to your maker.

(special affect: another five gallon water bottle is lowered
clumsily from a shelf to the floor of the second floor office)

Alright. You want to play. I'll play. You'll be sorry.

(special affect: all three water bottles roll down the stairway
toward Thug5.)

(Thug5 jumps over the stair rail to avoid the bottles, half way
down, Nanny is there to sweep his legs, he lands on his back on
the floor)

                             KATIE

(raises up, arms raised, shouts)

Got 'em!

                             NANNY

(dragging Thug5)

Do not rejoice in the suffering of others.

                             KATIE

Sorry, Nanny.

                             NANNY

And stop calling me Nanny!

                             KATIE

Sorry, Nanny.

                             NANNY

Katie! Focus!

                             KATIE

I'm focused. I'm calling 911 right now.

EXT NIGHT WIDE: OUTSIDE THE WAREHOUSE

(blinking blue and red lights illuminate the tailgate of the
truck)

                              SARG

(enters frame from warehouse)

We looked all over, Lieu, there's nobody in the warehouse. Just
a bunch of stolen cars.

                             GRIMLY

(enters frame opposite)

What's in this truck?

                              SARG

(unlocking tailgate)

I don't know. Let's look.

(opens tailgate, revealing Boss and all Thugs, bound and gagged,
tied to trailer walls)

                             GRIMLY

What have we here?!

                              SARG

Who are these guys?

(sound cue: Grimly's cell phone rings)

                             GRIMLY

(pulls out cell phone, pushes buttons)

I don't know. But I think we're about to find out.

(points to phone screen)

It's a video of these...

(points to thugs)

guys offering to buy

(points to warehouse)

those stolen cars from Butch Bellamy.

                             SARG

The nanny and that rich kid?

                            GRIMLY

Yeah.

(points at phone screen)

I think they just handed us a slam-dunk case against the auto
theft ring.

                             SARG

Well, where are they?

                            GRIMLY

It's a school night. The nanny probably had to get the rich kid
back to bed.

(pockets phone, walks away, points over shoulder)

Read them their rights.

                             SARG

You're all under arrest for grand theft auto. You have a right
to remain silent. You have a right to have an attorney present
during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will
be appointed to you by the court.

INT NIGHT TWO-SHOT: NANNY'S CAR

                             KATIE

You taking me back to school?

                             NANNY

Of course.

                             KATIE

I hate that school.

                             NANNY

You'll get over it.

                             KATIE

You're still mad at me, aren't you?

                             NANNY

No. I'm furious. You could have been killed.

                             KATIE

I'm safer when you're with me.

                             NANNY

Don't try to manipulate me.

                             KATIE

We're a really good team, you know.

                             NANNY

I don't want to talk about it.

                             KATIE

We make the cops look good. We make the F.B.I. look good. We do
a lot of good together.

                             NANNY

I don't want to talk about it.

                             KATIE

Lieutenant Grimly said his clearance rate has gone up since you
and I started fighting crime together. Do you know what
clearance rate means?

                             NANNY

You never let up. I should have let them ship you off to South
America.
